The High Sierra Cowboy Photography Workshop

The Erickson Family Cattle Company Announces
a Photography Workshop for 2012

July 21 2012

That will feature opportunities for photographers of all levels to get up close to real working cowboys as they move horses, drive, sort and rope cattle in the high country near Yosemite National Park.

The one day workshop will begin early each morning to capture images as the sun rises, while the cowboys work with the cattle in rustic wooden corrals, move horses in sloping meadows in front of a majestic mountain backdrop. Photographers will have the opportunity to explore scenic, still life. portrait and other genres featuring the cowboys along with their horses and tack.

During the workshop Professional photographers will be available to assist participants with artistic, technical and logistical questions. Sessions on various Digital imaging topics along with image critique will be given.

On Saturday a Chuck Wagon lunch and Dinner will be provided.
